The story never really goes anywhere. But, there were some characters involved that I just didn’t get what the purpose was in putting them in the book.

The mutations that benefit the organism generally will be passed on and there will be a cumulative effect. I have no idea why I’ve been away from his books for so long. Kinda part of the reason that everyone loves National Treasure-at least the first one, i cannot speak for the sequels- Obviously the plot is exaggerated and there is no gold, but most of the references actually exist!

Kind of like the last two-thirds of this novel I am reviewing. I will be able to reread his old stuff with enjoyment, but I will never again read sean new Dean Koontz novel – he is no longer a thriller writer, but just another of the many “Christian” writers who have sprung up in the wake of the “Left Behind” series.

His opening chapters were great. He builds up a fantastic premise and stands you up with the last page of the book. Yeah, so was I. Effectively this ddean is idle writing with no purpose and no ending. In fact, the more you shared of the past, the less people saw you for who you were in the now, the more they saw you as who you had been and who you had struggled so long not to be.
